Welcome to the website for the Dogwood District of The Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. We hope this site will become a useful communications tool that you can rely on for staying in touch with the district.
The Dogwood District's theme for the 2009-2011 administrative term is
"Dynamic Dogwoods . . . Invest in the Future"
Terry's projects are:
1. Partnerships with the Historic Oakland Cemetery and
2. Blue Heron Nature Preserve
It is the mission of the board under the leadership of Terry Waith and Co-Director, Debbie Vann, to help your club grow and achieve your goals. Please feel free to call on any of us for assistance and support.
The Dogwood Dialogue, our district newsletter, is available to our clubs on this website. In addition to providing you the newsletter on-line, we have provided links to other sites that may be useful to you, including The Garden Club of Georgia website.
Our “Dynamic Dogwoods in Action” page is filled with photos of our members working and playing. We invite you to send us digital photos or scanned images of your club projects and programs so that the website will be a reflection of the activities occurring in the district, and an inspiration to other clubs.
We have created a calendar that we hope will help you keep abreast of the many activities offered by the district and state organization. To help define the Dogwood District we have included a district map and the list of clubs that are members.
Thank You for visiting our website. We’d love to hear from you with comments and suggestions. Our website manager Kim Adamson may be reached by clicking HERE.. Please share this website with the members of your club and others that may be interested in joining or forming a new club. We look forward to working with all the clubs in our district and getting to know each of you.
Yours in Gardening,
Terry Waith ,
